Building a Same Day Funding Workflow Around the 2 PM Window
A disciplined morning workflow helps brokers submit complete files early enough to pursue a same day funding result.

Same day funding is a sequence, not a slogan
Same day funding is not a slogan. It is a sequence.
MonetaFi asks partners to submit completed files by 2 PM Eastern when they want the strongest opportunity to fund by 6 PM. That four hour period only works when the important questions have already been answered and the merchant is ready to act.
The ISO has more control over this timeline than many teams realize.
Identify priority files at the start of the day
The morning pipeline meeting should separate urgent and ready from urgent but incomplete.
A ready file has current statements, accurate business information, a clear use of capital, reachable ownership, and realistic expectations. An incomplete file may still be important, but calling it ready does not make it move faster.
We recommend choosing a small number of same day priorities rather than labeling the entire pipeline urgent. This focuses sales and processing resources where they can produce a result.
Collect explanations before underwriting asks
If the statements show negative days, unusual deposits, declining revenue, or active positions, gather the explanation early.
The goal is not to write a long defense. It is to give the reviewer a concise note and the supporting item that answers the obvious question.
For example, if a deposit decline came from a temporary closure, identify the dates and confirm that operations resumed. If an existing position is nearly complete, provide current payoff information.
Prepare the merchant for rapid movement
A same day file can still stop at the merchant. The owner may be unavailable, unsure about the payment, or unprepared to complete verification.
Before submission, tell the merchant what the day may require. Confirm that the owner can answer the phone, review an agreement, provide final items, and sign promptly if the structure is accepted.
Our team once moved a $45,000 file to funding in 48 minutes. The only delay was waiting for the merchant signature. That experience is a reminder that underwriting speed and merchant readiness have to meet.
Use the 2 PM deadline as a management tool
Deadlines create clarity. If a file will not be complete by 2 PM, reset the expectation instead of forcing a weak submission.
That does not mean the day is lost. Eligible smaller files may use online checkout later in the day, and the team can still review other opportunities. It means the broker should be honest about what is ready for a same day result.
Over time, this discipline improves the entire operation. Sales representatives learn that urgency must be supported by preparation, and processors know which items to chase first.
